Change of Auditor Rules.

Life just got a tiny bit easier for businesses wanting to change auditors. ASIC has released an updated RG 26 covering appointment and removal of auditors. Now, so long as there is nothing untoward in the change (e.g. forum shopping because a company doesn’t like an incumbent auditor’s findings, impending financial woes) changes will typically be accepted by ASIC.
